Amitabh Bachchan To Undergo Another Surgery

Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent two operations on Saturday February 11, 2012 to rectify his hernia said on Twitter yesterday that he will have to undergo a second surgery and added that his stay in the hospital will be prolonged. It was also reported that Beti B visited her grandfather in the hospital.

Indian star Sania Mirza and her doubles Australian partner Anastasia Rodionova won the women’s doubles final of the Pattaya Open tennis championship in Thailand. Sania Mirza of India and Australian Anastasia Rodionova beat H. Chan and Yung-ja Chan of Taipei 3-6, 6-1, 10-8. The top-seeded duo of Sania and Anastasia rallied well from a first-set deficit. This happens to be the 13th WTA title for the Sania Mirza and the first for 2012. Sania is ranked World No 7 in women’s double has a chance to compete in the 2012 London Olympics.

India wins by 4 wickets. Mahendra Singh Dhoni guided India to victory, with two balls to spare. Gautam Gambhir ‘s 92 runs anchored the Indian innings, before Dhoni and Suresh Raina took the visitors close with a stand of 61. Yadav and Zaheer Khan were the most effective of India’s bowlers. Gambhir victim of an lbw decision at 92 even thou the replays showed McKay’s delivery had pitched outside leg stump.

Kareena Kapoor Orders Royal Piece Of Jewellery For Wedding

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor reportedly ordered a royal piece of jewellery for her wedding to Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan . The piece of jewellery (neckpiece) is worth around 40 lakh rupees and will run from the neck to the waist. The neckpiece will be created by a Rajkot based Jeweller. Kareen has also been in the news for her movie this year which include Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) , Agent Vinod (2012) , Talaash (2012) , and Heroine (2012).
